HAMPTON, VA – Dhaval Shrikhande has joined Industrial Automation Specialists Corp. (IAS Corp) as a mechanical engineer in the firm’s Hampton offices. He is responsible for developing solutions to a number of complex engineering problems, including designs for new, custom industrial and manufacturing machinery and equipment. Prior to joining IAS Corp Shrikhande was an engineer in India, where his work included solid modeling and drafting for heavy machinery.
“I’m looking forward to getting much more involved in the creative design process,” said Shrikhande. “We aren’t stuck with the same type of design here; our customers want something unique and different and we get to develop a lot of new ideas.”
Shrikhande holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in engineering as well.
IAS Corp is headquartered in the Hampton, Virginia Langley Research Park and has locations in Chester, Virginia, and Houston and Humble, Texas.
